365 Towns / 365 Logos was our first project back in 2012. We started the daily art project as a creative exercise. The goal was to brand a different Wisconsin town every day for the entire year. 365 logos for 365 towns in 365 days (except it was a leap year so there are 366!).

We started by compiling a spreadsheet of over 1,200 Wisconsin towns and chose towns at random to illustrate, while trying to not spend more than an hour on each. The town names started to jump out at us for many different reasons…facts, nicknames, folklore, pop culture, etc. In the end, what we got was a lot of work and a lot of fun! We won some awards, got published in a few newspapers and books, and Project Wisconsin was born.
